Dark Knight

Hello all!! I was doing a spring cleaning in my room the other day, while catching up with a number of friends; who have either migrated or gone to other colleges and well, most of them said the same thing ‘update your blog’. Hence, for their sake, I’m doing so today! Hehe. Basically, I usually don’t have any idea of what to blog since I keep a journal…oops that’s no for you all to know. =P Anyways, this is actually something I should have blog-ed about like two weeks ago but I kind of forgot to do so.
So here goes…

I think the picture says it all…but you have not heard the full story yet!! Hehe.
Dark Knight has been getting lots of reviews even months before it’s preview especially after the death of the talented Heath Ledger, the movie seemed to be the talk of Tinsel town. Therefore, my friend and I were influenced to watch the movie- she basically wanted to watch the movie for Christian Bale, however, I beg to differ unless he can give me his beautiful sports car then yeah ok…my reason for watching the movie is Heath Ledger. Not that I have a celebrity crush on him but I heard on the radio a comparison of one of the Joker’s lines between Jack Nickelson (sorry I don’t know how to spell his name) and Heath ledger’s and it was so obvious that Heath played the Joker’s role better and I was struck when I saw the trailer. Hence, I decided it is a movie I have to watch this year (that’s what I said for Prince Caspian too). My friend and I were so excited when the month of July came since it would be only 2- 3 more weeks before we could watch the movie- our intention was to catch the movie after a class. However, one day after class a group of my friends and I were walking from BAC to KL Sentral and boom! We bumped into the Mix FM Roadrunners and one of my friend’s brother is the roadrunner and after being successfully persuaded by the roadrunners, we decided to spare them some of our time and just joined in for the games. They were giving away Burberry’s latest perfume; The Beat!!!- I had to stay and it is officially my favourite perfume (so ehem! If you don’t know what to get for my Birthday….hint; hint! Hehe.)
We played a few simple games and to my surprise I won one of the games- I got to meet Jay from Mix Fm’s 10 am- 1 pm slot- and I got to choose from a few prizes and right in front of my eyes were tickets to Dark Knight!!! So duh!!! Of course I chose those tickets!!! Hehe.
I’m basically trying to rub it in that I got to watch the most hyped movie this year for FREE!!!! Haha. It was a good movie- I was in awe of Heath’s performance but the movie could have been a little shorter- people do need to go to the loo after a large cup of Coke, ok directors and producers- 2 and a half hours is just a little too long! Hehe.

thanks a lot!

Thank you very much for everything!!! Honestly, thank you...yes you! Because of you I ran as fast as I could when a great guy approached me! Because of you I can't even trust this new and nice guy! Even if he just doesn't reply me, my mind won't let me stop wondering as to whether he meant anything he said. Not because I'm obsessive but because you hurt me and you taught me to Never trust another guy again! Thanks a lot...and I do wish you all the best in your future.

the not so fun week.

Boy! This week has definitely been a 'kelam-kabut' one. First, I had an exam on Monday, an assignment due by Friday and non-stop notes to rewrite and study for English Lit. Those aren't really the reasons why I had a rough week, it was actually all thanks to KTM that is why my week sucked! Monday morning, as usual I would drive down to Subang Parade-park the car there and walk over to the KTM station. Stupidly enough the train decided to delay for an hour, hence, I needed to find another resort to get to college. I completely forgot that there is a bus stop in front of Carefour, therefore, my friend and I drove down to the Kelana station and surprise; surprise we were greeted by the sign 'PENUH'. Dahlah, I was kind of frust with the KTM already and being late is something I absolutely hate, my friend suggested that I drive down to One Utama to catch a shuttle from there. Obviously, there wasn't any other resort, so, we took that route and by the time we reached college, we were an hour late for the exam already! The next day and the next and the next- yes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday- the stupid KTM was having its' stupid mood swings and by then my friend and I had gotten use to the idea of taking the bus, so instead of going to Subang KTM we just drove to One Utama to catch the bus from there. You may think that it was ok- but no for the next three days I arrived an hour late to class- thank God my lecturers were so understanding!!!
Even though, it definitely wasn't a pleasant week for me but I want to thank God for blessing me with my friend, Dragonfly, who has a great sense of direction and more street smart than me. And also another thing is that God was just truly there with us through out the whole week and also for blessing me with very understanding lecturers.

The End. haha.
