My thought after reading that: "Who in the right mind suggested that they should rebuild an ancient ruin?!" I don't think that we should touch what has been left as it is for the world to see unless it is at the verge of destruction. Nonetheless, restoration, yes, but rebuilding it without the original blueprint, no.
