Eesh

Sometimes talking to them can be so irritating- like really I want to yell at them or just walk out of the room- but at the end of the day, they are still my friends.

New 'love'

It was last year's biggest summer blockbuster movie! However, even after the entire youth went to watch it, I still refused to because...well I never fancied such movies and I guess it just didn't make sense to me. Today, I had nothing better to do (since classes are over for the year), hence I decided to give it a try- plus Josh Duhamel is HOT!! and Shia LaBouf is a great actor!

Well, while watching the movie I suddenly found a new boyfriend! Haha...yup yup I have 'plenty'. Presenting my latest new boyfriend:

Pontiac Solstice

Clearly, I don't seem to be living in the real world but what are the heck! Hehe.

Another thought...

I've learned something from studying Law and that is until you have solid proof that the person has committed an offense or crime against you, the person is innocent and there is no case.

Applying it to daily life

I have to admit that everyone has our own individual faults and sometimes we exceed our limits and turn our backs against our friends, but those who have been hurt should think back and analyze whether it was indeed their own actions that cause the other to do 'harm'.

If you have done something to cause the other to react as they have, then you are also partly to be blame. In Law, we call that 'contributory negligence' which means you only 'win' half of the case as you were the source of the cause.

Therefore, those who say that there are backstabbers and gossipers should retrace their steps and analyze actions to see whether they have done anything at all to have cause those people who are supposedly 'backstabbers' and 'gossipers' to react in that manner.

This is just a thought after reading some random bloggy.

Young versus Old (Girls, have fun)

Okay, this is a clear warning to all the male readers, unless you are interested in guys/boys/men, I strongly suggest you skip this post. For the girls, please don't scream too loud. And for all readers, well, I had nothing better to do, hence, the reason for this 'out of nowhere' post.

Alright, I am a girl (that was an unnecessary statement) therefore in my leisure time I like looking and talking about cute guys (it cannot be helped, haha). It just occurred to me the other day, that today's young men are completely different from yesterday's young men. Although, I am only 18 and obviously inappropriate for me to marry or even date any of the older men, I still believe and find them even more charming and more handsome and more of a MAN than the younger ones. Proof? You ask. Well, look below and welcome to the MEN POST.

THE YOUNG

Jonas Brothers. The Disney trio; who seriously have to do something about their hair and clothes.

Zac Efron. Another Disney actor though he does look better than the trio above. Still lacks the charm but has a gorgeous set of blue eyes.

Chace Crawford. Okay, this guy is a Gossip Girl actor, who at one angle looks good while on another 'not-so-good' angle looks like a girl. However, he does look good in a suit.

Robert Pattinson. Okay, Zac Efron and Chace Crawford I understand a little but this one...OMG! Sorry Edward Cullen's fans, I just don't see at which angle he is either HOT or HANDSOME...this guy has even said in an interview that he did not wash his hair for 6 weeks *faints*

Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian). This, however, I am extremely guilty. I dragged my friend from the escalator through KLCC Center Court into the Gap store, all the way to the men section to just stare at his photo. *blushes and runs*

THE CHARMING (OLDER) MEN

Hugh Grant. He is an average looking man but to me he is indeed charming.

Brad Pitt Okay, any female or even male readers does not know this man? *slaps forehead* Growing old but still one of my favourite. I could not find a picture of him without Angelina...haiz.

Pierce Brosnan He may not have been the best actor as 007 but to me, he is definitely the most charming one of all!

Hugh Jackman Wolverine, never looked so good! Haha. People's Sexiest Man 2008. Mr. Jackman is definitely a charmer!

Well, girls I don't know about you but besides Ben Barnes (who in my opinion doesn't have that great a charm as the older men but there is something about him that attracts me *faints*) the older yet more charming men seem to rule the looks section. Hehe. Let me know what you think.

That is all for now- can't really believe I'm writing about this but what the heck! Haha.

randomness

I just realized something- to a certain extend I can actually live without the Internet- and, yes, I am serious. I mean like now, I managed to steal the modem from my sister and mum (since they are the ones using it to the max and me sacrificing my internet time), in 40 minutes, I've checked at least 5 blogs, my Facebook, my emails and surfing random websites that I usually drop by and I am already cracking my head as to what I should check out next. This must really make me sound like a very boring person, but I seem to find my Law book even more interesting; which is taunting me to get started on my notes again. Am doing my best to ignore it and pretend that there is no rush to get those notes done....okay, not really working.

In actual fact, I don't even know what I am crapping here. Haha. Tomorrow I am off to Mid Valley (not an ideal shopping place for me- since I hate the layout and some personal grudges with that place) but my parents decided it would be a better place for me to find CLOTHES! And since they are the ones bringing me out, I shall quietly follow them and hunt down for Christmas clothes. Hehe.

Mad, slow and dumb.

Mad for being a perfectionist, slow for realizing my action's consequences and dumb for being too nice.

It is exactly one year since I have been that close to you and that nice to you. I don't even know what got into me but I hope you know for a fact that my actions, today, was out of perfection.

you will always be on my mind but never in my heart.

*ouch* My ear!

Okay, currently my sister is in Robbert Pattinson crazy mood! I agreed to watch the movie because there was no other great movie to watch- with my friend and thankfully not with my sister, she would have probably screamed the whole hall down!

And even reading this little passage to her, she is already squealing and deafening me. And thankfully my youngest sister (the one on four) isn't that mad except when it comes to food.

I have no idea what I am crapping about but what the heck! Hehe.

Bday post 2

I have more pics but these are just two out of the few we took at the photo booth in 1u.

We call this the "sweet and innocent look".

Just us.

What more could I have asked for- to be able to celebrate my 18th birthday with my best friend who may look older than me but in actual fact I am 5 days more immature than she is. Haha.

Thanks Andrea, had a great

Let all the pictures do the talking.

Okay, in my last post I did promise that I would upload the pics of the dresses I tried on before making my decision and in actual fact, I only had to choose from three, since when it comes to dresses, I am not all so daring to go all out for it yet.(Can't blame me since this is after all my first time buying a dress and wearing it out of the house!)

Before that, the few pics below how I spent my first birthday celebration which was with my family:

My birthday breakfast- something that I have been craving for.

My mum suggested this place since Shogun was a little too expensive and just last weekend, we ate at Sakae Sushi. However, the steak there isn't all too bad. Let me compare with 'Forest Gump' at Curve tomorrow, then I'll let you know.

My sister and I.

The birthday girl, who is finally legally 18!

A little brown dress with a flirty twist?

A simple grey dress?

Or the ultimate LBD? Sexy and yet formal?

Which do you think I chose among the three? The answer? In my next post after tomorrow's outing with my girlfriend! Hehe.

For now, this is

161190-161108: 18 years.

18 years, and not once has He ever let me down, the One who has held my hand through life's journey- through all the happiness, sadness, the friends I lost and the loved one that I lost. I've learned plenty from the little events that have taken place in my life and though some may have been painful but I know that God has placed each and every one of those events in my life for a specific reason and I've learned what are the most important things in life: trust, loyalty, faith, and love.

This morning when I woke up, all I could do (honestly) was to thank Him abundantly for everything and it made my morning perfect. To be able to serve Him on my birthday, what more could I ask for? Especially since He is the one who created me and gave me the air I breathe and the life I live.

To those who wished me, thank you very much for your wishes. Very much appreciated. One funny thing- two weeks ago, I prayed "God, I don't care if I don't get any other presents, I just want two specific gifts for this year." Be Careful of What You Pray For! Haha. Not complaining, because finally I've found a way to combine my two FAVOURITE THINGS IN THE WORLD: ANCIENT EGYPT HISTORY and SHOPPING. Right after this, I shall be going to 1U to hunt down for an Egyptian book; which I have been craving for and a dress; which I promised my best friend I would buy for my 18th birthday. Who is going with me? Like DUH! My family!!! What better way to spend my birthday, than with the people who love me unconditionally and have supported me all my life (hmmm...wondering whether they are forced to love me and btw, I have to drag my dad along since he is the one I'm showing those puppy dog eyes to today when I bring both the book and dress to the cashier...haha.)

However, if anyone is so kind and loving enough...wait...and VERY RICH! I would really love to own a PORSCHE BOXTER!!!! And for a few of my friends who have asked, "Why not just ask them for a ticket to Egypt?" My reply: Though it may sound like a good idea but to go to Egypt and learn all that it has to offer- I rather save up because by using my own money to travel all the way there, I know I'll be so proud of myself for having been able to achieve a life-long dream of mine!

Let's see whether I manage to find the book and the dress without burning my dad's wallet- praying hard! If I do, then those will be up on my next post.

That is all for now...and oooo Happy Belated Birthday Ariel!!! hehe.

Love,

chelle

Thoughts running through my mind

FINALLY!!! I can actually say FINALLY with all my strength and might!!!!!!!!

FINALLY EXAMS ARE OVER!!!! *jumps up and down*

The past two to three weeks have been beyond craziness as I've been having classes literally everyday from 9 am to 7 pm. However, that is all over now and I am so thankful to one person who has just been there for me through it all- God- DUH!!! He's just given sufficient strength to carry on through the pass weeks and I know it was Him who just helped me through it all. Thus, I do serve an amazing God, whom I know will never let me down.

Was talking to a friend just now and as usual, girls, we were talking about everything under the sun and it brought back a memory- not so happy one; which I've kind of just locked up in the back of mind. But recalling every detail of it has just set me in this emo mood but again it reminds me to just be careful and to learn from the mistakes I made.

Obviously, I shan't be anymore detailed. By the way, I really; really wonder why do we need to keep listening to people talk to us about BGR? I honestly don't see the point of it especially when Love is just going to hurt you, so why bother investing in it?

My latest fave song.

All this time I was wasting
Hoping you would come around
I've been giving out chances every time
And all you do is let me down
And it's taking me this long
Baby but I figured you out
And you're thinking we'll be fine again
But not this time around

Looking so innocent
I might believe you if I didn't know
Could've loved you all my life
If you hadn't left me waiting in the cold
And you got your share of secrets
And I'm tired of being last to know
And now you're asking me to listen
Cause it's worked each time before

song by: Taylor Swift.
Title: You're not sorry

Get your facts right.

I was 'online-ing' yesterday (which I shouldn't actually be doing so, but who cares) and one of my friends IM-ed me saying "those priceless treasures are junks".

Okay, you can criticize me but don't expect me not to stand for my own rights. You can even try to criticize my very close friends, if you magically can speak after I knock the lights out of you. Even worse, you trying to criticize the love of my life without you knowing your own facts! Don't ever try saying or reasoning with me that those "priceless treasures are junks" without a single knowledge of all the History that lies within it.

If you think that it doesn't make sense in today's world- let me just give you an insight, if you are doing medicine, Egypt had the best medicine in the ancient world and it was because of their ability to mummify their kings and all, that is where your knowledge of medicine came from. If you are an architect, PYRAMIDS are the most amazing buildings in the world- three of which were build with a maximum of 2 mm error compared to each other, all those ancient buildings were inspired by Imhotep; where many of your architecture stuff derived its knowledge from. If you study Maths, guess what! Pythagoras- the maths dude...he studied in Egypt!

So before you even try and say that those "priceless treasures are junks" recheck your History knowledge...don't try crapping with me about such things. So you can continue complaining to me about your busy life and all those expectations! Whatever...you criticize Ancient Egypt's history, you can forget about me being all caring towards you.

What I learned?

I've been studying English Literature for the past two weeks and I've learned something from the novel that I am studying- Mill on the Floss-

"If your lover deprives you of your own happiness and forces you to sacrifice the happiness of those whom you love, evidently he cares nothing for your welfare and all that matters to him is his happiness. Therefore, he is not a man who truly loves you."

Yup, that is what I learned...well okay, only one portion of the novel la but it is a huge part of the novel.

Egypt!

There was a MPH warehouse sale the whole of last week and my aim of going was to get both the Narnia series and also a book on Egypt.I found both but to my disappointment the Narnia book did not have Ben Barnes (hottie!) on the cover and the Egypt book I bought was like a 'Peter n Jane' book. However, forget Narnia for now, I read the Egypt book which is on King Tutankhamun and I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT ALL OVER AND OVER AGAIN! And last night after class (which ended at 8 pm and came back home at 9:30) I managed to take an hour break and found a very interesting series on Discovery Channel- 'Egypt's Greatest Discovery!!!!'How can I resist such temptation?! Okay, a few places that I will visit in Egypt are 'Seti 1st tomb', 'Tutankhamun tomb', 'Abu Simbel's Temple' and the Giza pyramids! *faints*

How am I going to study when all of Egypt is running through my mind? Sobs! I want Egypt NOW!

Just for you

For the first 16 years of my life...

You nursed me when I was sick,
You kept me safe from harm,
You cooked all my meals,
You taught me how to be a lady,
You taught me that 'brains is worth more than beauty',
And most of all,
You loved me.

With love,
Your granddaughter.

Just complaining

It's almost end of the year and before the year wraps up, it is a norm for all of us to have tons of datelines to meet. Here are my 'things to do' before 6th of November:

1. Study for AS Economics
2. Finish my Poem critical appreciations (Seriously, William Wordsworth is a great poet but he never had anything better to do in his life except spend time with freaking Nature.)
3. Finish reading 'Mill on the Floss'. Shakespeare is so much better a writer than George Eliot.
4. Restudy Sejarah SPM. Why? Because I agreed to give a guy a crash course on Sejarah.
5. Restudy Sejarah F1. Why? Because I tutor a friend who is sitting for her F1 finals.

Yup, that is only the beginning. I'm sure all of you understand the pressure of exams. Hence, to all of my friends who are sitting for their finals sooner or later, I have only one thing to say: "All the best!"

*mouth wide open*

It was a normal cool evening and my friend and I decided to go to the nearby outdoor gym. While exercising, we saw this BEAUTIFUL BLACK SLICK S class Mers! Obviously, we had our jaws wide open when we saw the car and with the side of our eyes, we observed where the car was heading to. When we decided it was enough of exercising (yes, people I do exercise!) my friend suggested that we go hunting for that BEAUTIFUL CAR! Hence, we walked towards the direction where we saw the car heading to and viola! We saw the car on the move and sadly it belonged to a Malay family. I saw a lady walking towards the car with her back facing us and when she turned around, I got the shock of my life! It was my previous KH teacher, who so happened to be my former neighbour too. And there is she run in front of my eyes, with a S class Mers, a new BMW and a sports car... and to close the deal living in a 1.2 million house!!! *faints*

I have nothing left to say...I was just too much in shock to find out that it was my former teacher's house. ARGH!!!!

Wednesday, 15 October 2008

God...please use me!

What do you do when you know your friend is in need but she doesn't say anything?

Me? I, first of all, feel absolutely helpless wishing that I can do more than just wait for her to tell me instead of keeping it all to herself. It really stinks because she's such a strong and independent girl, and knowing her well enough, she won't say anything until she feels like she really can't handle it.

But by keeping quiet and waiting for her to open up, is that all I can or should do? I feel like an absolute hopeless and terrible friend.

Then I look up to the sky and say a little prayer. Praying hard that He will use me well to help my friend through it all.

P.S: I'm not talking about 'what shoe or clothes to buy' sort of problem. Thus, I am not that insane.

Just a post

New background or skin as many would call it. Nothing fancy at all. Just felt like changing it and thought that I shouldn't be anymore morbid- means no more black.

Going over to stay at my friend's house for the next 5 nights...haha. Best part no parents!!! Free flow of...erm drinks! Lol as if can drink since I have class everyday. Surround sound system theater, flat screen TV, ps3 and 24 hours internet connection and just us girls...hehe.

Expectations= Unwanted Noise

"Please la, it's you...sure no problem wan la"

"I'm sure you got all A wan right..."

"If you don't pass means I die la"

"You got good memory mah...sure easy for you wan"

"My guess Michelle and Sunny will the only ones who understand what I'm teaching if you combine classes
"

All of the above are not even close to what I hear almost everyday. What may seem to you as encouragements or compliments are actually EXPECTATIONS to me. You people honestly have to STOP expecting me to always be on top of everything that I do. It doesn't mean I have a good memory, I will be able to remember every freaking single detail. It doesn't mean I love History, I will love Law. It doesn't mean I'll always get As...NO I should be allowed to have my own failures and learn from them without having you idiotic noises telling me that "Oh please it's you...sure no problem wan". Thanks to those so- called encouragements, I was and still am not satisfied with my SPM results!...It's because of you people, that is why I have an extra burden to perform better in my exams. It's because of all your stupid expectations...expectations that have gone overboard!!

It's clear it's been a bad day for me...listening to all your stupid expectations. But I read something that comforted me and obviously it did not come from you people...it came from Him.

" For our present troubles are quite small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us an immeasurably great glory that will last forever!" 2 Corinthians 4:17

Flirty? Sexy? Girly? Sophisticated?

I am honestly generally a girl who would do anything not to be seen in a dress or a skirt. I love jeans and have always loved jeans. However, lately especially this year I sort of have had this craving for a dress and well I have tried on a number of
dresses but it is either I don't dare wear them outside the dressing rooms or it is too pricey or I don't see the point of buying them even though they may be absolutely adorable. Haha. My good friend and I have planned to hunt down a dress for her and myself for our birthdays. Since she has found hers...I'm still on the hunt for my perfect dress. My style? A dress with a touch of elegance and flirty-ness...that is if I can find one. So here are a few that I have tried on:

What about a White dress to bring my 'innocent angelic' look out? HAHAHAHA

A sweet light Brown dress for a flirty touch?

A funky short dress?

What about a nice long Boho dress? (Which I absolutely adore!!!)

Last choice? Back to Basic! The Little Black Dress (LBD)...besides Black suits my skin tone best.

Yet our chemistry is something I can't deny

This was suppose to be interesting....

I would rarely do such things but this is kind of nice and interesting. Thanks Mui!

The rules are simple.
1. You shall put your music player on shuffle.
2. You shall press forward for each question.
3. You shall use the song title as the answer to the question even if it doesn't make sense. NO CHEATING!
4. You shall give your own comments on how it relates to the questions.

How are you feeling today?
Get Back- Demi Lovato Hmmmm...not sure how that works.

Will you get far in life?
Crush- David Archuleta Okay...this is sad. I should say my goodbyes soon...haha

How do your friends see you?
My Happy Ending- Avril Lavigne JEWEL!!! THIS AIN'T FUN ANYMORE!!!

What is your best friend's theme song?
Misery Business- Paramore Okay...am I being a miserable friend here? Huh? Okay...my choice of songs are not good for this game.

What is the story of your life?
Home-Westlife Hmmmm...yup I guess this is kind of relative since my family is the most important part of my life.

What was high school like?
Don't Stop the Music- Rihanna Ah Ha!!! This is a good answer. High school was full of fun and havoc! Hehe.

How can you get ahead in life?
Like Only a Woman Can- Brian McFadden The title says it all!

What is the best thing about your friends?
What Makes a Man?- Westlife LOL...this one is just plain silly.

What is in the store for this weekend?
Us Against the World- Westlife Well...it is the latest from them...

How is your life going?
Let This Go- Paramore Hmmm...yup yup am letting things go.

What song will they play on your funeral?
We are Broken- Paramore This does suit the question.

What do your friends really think about you?
The Best Damn Thing- Avril Lavigne Oh whoa! If they really think so, I will be very honoured.

Do people secretly lust about you?
Miracle- Paramore My guess it would be a miracle for them to do so.

How can I make myself happy?
The Best Damn Thing- Avril Lavigne Okay, no one told me what to do if the song was repeatedly played.

What should you do with your life?
Forever- Chris Brown That doesn't answer the question one bit.

Will you ever have children?
Don't Write me Off- Music and Lyrics Hmmm...what?

Okay, overall this was just a weird questionnaire...

My True Love

I fell in love once when I was in Form 1 and I have never fallen out of love. My feelings are unexplainable for him and he is...yeah...my true true love. Every time I hear his name and even just the sight of him brings a huge smile on my face. His external appearance is every bit of perfection from top to bottom. He is rich on the inside and...hmmm let me just say that I am not extremely attracted to his external looks but it is everything in him that I LOVE!I would honestly do anything in my power to spend my entire life with him!!!

Now you know my one and true love (this is with the exception of God...of course)

Tagged...again

RULE #1 People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs and replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves..

1. Do you have secrets? What kind of question is this? Hehe.

2. If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be? To live in Egypt and do research and discovery on Pharaohs my whole life!

3. Ever floured somebody on their birthday? Nah. Haven't had the chance yet...hmmm maybe I should start planning.

4. What would you do with a billion dollars? Give 10% to God (of course He deserves it!), buy my Porsche Boxter, study Egyptology in UK, travel around Europe with my bestie, let my parents retire and live wherever they want...and the rest? If I can't think of any other way to spend it...well, I always have shopping!!!!

5. Will you fall in love with your best friend? Shouldn't the love of my life be my best friend?

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone? Simple. Loving someone.

7. How long do you intend to wait for someone you really love? If I truly love that someone...my whole life.

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do? Be happy that he has found someone he can share his life with.

9. Is there anything that has made you extremely happy? Having great friends.

10. What takes you down the fastest? Not reaching my expectations.

11. How would you see yourself in ten years time? I'll be 28 then, so still studying for my Masters in Egyptology and hopefully be able to find the right guy then. Kids...hmmm kind of hard to juggle studying and kids then right...

12. Who are currently the most important people to you?My family of course...that includes my fatty Anya (doggie), my best whom I spend every single day with (we go to the same college...so yeah)and the rest...well that's for me to know and for you all to slowly find out.

13. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is? Haha...this is a simple question: Danny Messer fanatic! Lol...but overall an amazing Mui!

14. Chocolate or Sushi? Chocolate!!! I don't eat vege of any kind!

15. What's the first thing you do when you wake up? Search for my baby (Winnie the Pooh) and give him a tight hug! Yes I am still a child!

16. Would you give all in a relationship? Someone elder once told me, never give a 100% and I agree. No matter how much and how long you've known that person, you can never trust that person fully...I've been there and done that.

17. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick? My bestie gave me a scenario: put both guys in the middle of the road and a big vehicle driving towards them at a fast speed...it took me almost a month for me to answer her. At the end, I chose the one I would feel most comfortable with spending my whole life with.

18. Would you forgive and forget no matter how horrible a thing the someone has done? This is a hard question for me! Because of my detailed memory, it is hard for me to do both. I may forgive but I'll never forget and I'll never look at the person with the same insight ever again. I've been there...so yeah, betrayal is the worst thing someone can do to me.

19. What kinda songs are you into now?
a) It's Over- Jesse McCartney
b) Only a Woman Can- Brian McFadden
c) My Happy Ending- Avril Lavigne
d) Picture to Burn- Taylor Swift
e) Disturbia- Rihanna

20.List 5 people to tag
- Gabrielle (couldn't think of anyone else)
- Lim (missing you...bluek!)
- Li Jen (miss you girl!!!)
- Esther!

What makes a man

This isn't goodbye, even as I watch you leave, this isn't goodbye
I swear I won't cry, even as tears fill my eyes, I swear I won't cry

Any other girl, I'd let you walk away
Any other girl, I'm sure I'd be ok

Tell me what makes a man
Wanna give you all his heart
Smile when you're around
And cry when you're apart
If you know what makes a man
Wanna love you the way I do
Girl you gotta let me know
So I can get over you

What makes her so right?
Is it the sound of her laugh?
That look in her eyes
When do you decide?
She is the dream that you seek
That force in your life

When you apologize, no matter who was wrong
When you get on your knees if that would bring her home

Tell me what makes a man
Wanna give you all his heart
Smile when you're around
And cry when you're apart
If you know what makes a man
Wanna love you the way I do
Girl you gotta let me know

So that I can get over you

Other girls will come along, they always do
But what's the point when all I ever want is you, tell me

Tell me what makes a man
Wanna give you all his heart
Smile when you're around
And cry when you're apart
If you know what makes a man
Wanna love you the way I do
Girl you gotta let me know..... (let me know)
Girl you gotta let me know..... (wooo)
So I can get over you

Ignoring the fact that they do plenty of covers, Westlife definitely has one of the best compilation of love songs and this song is no different!

Li Jen, let's see whether you and I have the same taste...again. Hehe. Let me know. :)

Like only a woman can

I wasn’t perfect
I’ve done a lot of stupid things
I’m still no angel
I wasn’t looking for forgiveness
Wasn’t laid out by my pride
Shocked by her attention
And someone signed me up for love
I didn’t want it
And now I can’t live without it

She changed my life
She cleaned me up
She found my heart
Like only a woman can
She pulls me up
When she knows I’m sad
She knows her man
Like only a woman can

She’s kind of perfect
She’s kind of everything I’m not
Yeah, she’s an angel
And it’s amazing how she’s patient
Even more at times I’m not
She’s my conscience
And who decided I’d be hers
I wanna hate them
Cos now I can’t live without her

She changed my life
She cleaned me up
She found my heart
Like only a woman can
She pulls me up
When she knows I’m sad
She knows her man
Like only a woman can

Like only a woman can
And who decided I’d be hers
I wanna hate them
Cos now I can’t live without her

Oh, and she changed my life
She cleaned me up
She found my heart
Like only a woman can
She pulls me up
When she knows I’m sad
She knows her man
Like only a woman can

If my special someone (when I find one...gotta clear that or some of my friends will start throwing stones and bricks at me)dedicates this song or even writes a song like that for me- I'll marry that person! Haha.

Brian McFadden, from Westlife, has never written a better song and hopefully there are more amazing songs coming from him. *thumbs up* for Mr. McFadden.

Our Song

I was riding shotgun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car
He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel
The other on my heart
I look around, turn the radio down
He says baby is something wrong?
I say nothing I was just thinking how we don't have a song
And he says...

Our song is the slamming screen doors,
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have"
And when I got home ... before I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again

I was walking up the front porch steps after everything that day
Had gone all wrong and been trampled on
And lost and thrown away
Got to the hallway, well on my way to my lovin' bed
I almost didn't notice all the roses
And the note that said...

Our song is the slamming screen doors,
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have"
And when I got home ... before I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again

I've heard every album, listened to the radio
Waited for something to come along
That was as good as our song...

Cause

Our song is the slamming screen doors,
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have"
And when I got home ... before I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again

I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
I grabbed a pen and an old napkin
And I wrote down our song

I know this song is sort of old already but it's the one song that kept me going through the whole night- to study that is! And the tune is catchy, upbeat and cute. Country music can be real nice...

Not like any other jam

Was stuck in a jam today thanks to the 'buka puasa' but can't blame Malaysians- all we think about is food. Hehe. Anyways, today's jam was different as I would usually be kind of irritated if I am stuck in a jam but today I was delighted to be stuck in the jam. This is because I met the Lovers of my life. (Note: I wrote 'lovers') My eyes would be focused solely on them and not the car in front of me when they drove pass- it was as if there was this magnetic pull! They were everything I love- classy, high end, extremely good taste and many; many more. I knew I was in love when I saw them.

Volkswagen Beetle

Brabus CLS

Jaguar XK/XKR

Porsche Boxter

I honestly have to say it was the best jam I've gotten stuck in. Haha. I sound ridiculous but who cares! My choice, without a doubt, has to be Mr. Boxter Porsche- black, slick, classy and best the nicest Butt! haha.

Fall for you over and over

Because tonight will be the night
I will fall for you over again,
Don’t make me change my mind
I won’t live to see another day,
I swear it’s true
A girl like you is impossible to find,
You’re impossible to find

I wish that things never ended and we never said goodbye.

Mixed up world

How do you know which of your friends are more important?

Like do boyfriends or girlfriends come before your closest friends or the other way around?

Should you use your friends to go out with your boyfriend or girlfriend?

Do you think it is okay for you to invite your closest friends over when your girl or boy is with you?

Am actually kind of pissed off with a close friend of mine who knows that I don't fancy couples now and she asks me to go over to her house to visit her while her boyfriend is there.

My thinking: if you want to spend some friend time with me, spend it properly...not with the boyfriend around. Don't tell me you'll be able to balance the both of us...that's crap!

She's the Man

Some are born great, some achieve great and some have greatness thrust upon them.

The above movie is actually an adaption of Shakespeare's Christmas play; the Twelfth Night. I have seriously lost it- blogging about English Literature- as if having five days of it isn't enough.

Dark Knight

Hello all!! I was doing a spring cleaning in my room the other day, while catching up with a number of friends; who have either migrated or gone to other colleges and well, most of them said the same thing ‘update your blog’. Hence, for their sake, I’m doing so today! Hehe. Basically, I usually don’t have any idea of what to blog since I keep a journal…oops that’s no for you all to know. =P Anyways, this is actually something I should have blog-ed about like two weeks ago but I kind of forgot to do so.
So here goes…

I think the picture says it all…but you have not heard the full story yet!! Hehe.
Dark Knight has been getting lots of reviews even months before it’s preview especially after the death of the talented Heath Ledger, the movie seemed to be the talk of Tinsel town. Therefore, my friend and I were influenced to watch the movie- she basically wanted to watch the movie for Christian Bale, however, I beg to differ unless he can give me his beautiful sports car then yeah ok…my reason for watching the movie is Heath Ledger. Not that I have a celebrity crush on him but I heard on the radio a comparison of one of the Joker’s lines between Jack Nickelson (sorry I don’t know how to spell his name) and Heath ledger’s and it was so obvious that Heath played the Joker’s role better and I was struck when I saw the trailer. Hence, I decided it is a movie I have to watch this year (that’s what I said for Prince Caspian too). My friend and I were so excited when the month of July came since it would be only 2- 3 more weeks before we could watch the movie- our intention was to catch the movie after a class. However, one day after class a group of my friends and I were walking from BAC to KL Sentral and boom! We bumped into the Mix FM Roadrunners and one of my friend’s brother is the roadrunner and after being successfully persuaded by the roadrunners, we decided to spare them some of our time and just joined in for the games. They were giving away Burberry’s latest perfume; The Beat!!!- I had to stay and it is officially my favourite perfume (so ehem! If you don’t know what to get for my Birthday….hint; hint! Hehe.)
We played a few simple games and to my surprise I won one of the games- I got to meet Jay from Mix Fm’s 10 am- 1 pm slot- and I got to choose from a few prizes and right in front of my eyes were tickets to Dark Knight!!! So duh!!! Of course I chose those tickets!!! Hehe.
I’m basically trying to rub it in that I got to watch the most hyped movie this year for FREE!!!! Haha. It was a good movie- I was in awe of Heath’s performance but the movie could have been a little shorter- people do need to go to the loo after a large cup of Coke, ok directors and producers- 2 and a half hours is just a little too long! Hehe.
